Indoor air quality monitoring at Val-de-Reuil Workshop
Project
Colas Agency needed to monitor the indoor air quality inside their maintenance workshops for construction and earthmoving machinery in Normandy. This workshop was located at Val-de-Reuil, about 60 miles West of Paris.
Duration : 12 months renewable contract (as long as deemed necessary)
Challenges
Many petrol-based chemicals are manipulated and it is important to monitor in real-time the composition of the air quality inside the workshop so as to preserve workers health and safety.

Our Solution
In the workshop, we installed POD indoor air quality monitors connected to the uMonitor platform.
Alerts are sent in case thresholds are exceeded.
Weekly air quality reports based on the recorded levels are produced and sent to the client for a regular monitoring.
